I think many of us on the west coast are concerned whenever a ship does leave for good. We lost the Mariner (so that's it for the Baja and MR cruises for that line until RC returns to this market), NCL. Princess is shifting some of the Sapphire cruises to the Hawaiian itinerary (which is okay by me as they are still using San Pedro, but for those wanting a shorter cruise....). I've heard HAL is leaving San Diego too.

Disney has returned to do the MR cruises for this season (through May) and next (Sept thru May).

But every ship brings lots of tourism dollars for our west coast ports...and that's great.

It's supply and demand. When the supply drops prices rise and maybe another line will fill the void.
