Los Angeles, CA The City of Angels is home to beautiful beaches, famous landmarks and tourist attractions. Take a celebrity homes tour, visit Grauman's Chinese Theatre, Movieland Wax Museum, Ripley's Believe It or Not and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Walk down Rodeo Drive or take a drive down Sunset Strip. For those not looking for the typical Hollywood or Beverly Hills attractions, there is Descanso Gardens or the Mathias Botanical Gardens on the UCLA campus. Los Angeles is served by both the Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach.

The World Cruise Center at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro, California is approximately 18 miles south of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Parking is $12.00 per day (rates are subject to change by Port Authority). From LAX: Travel southbound on the San Diego Freeway (Interstate 405), then southbound on the Harbor Freeway (Interstate 110). Exit at Harbor Boulevard and proceed straight through the Harbor Boulevard intersection. Turn right to enter the World Cruise Center.

Wanda, I'm guessing that you are in LA?

About half way between LA and SF. I'm thinking we'll probably cruise out of LA. I just put the Carnival Pride on my short list.

Wanda, if you cruise on Carnival, you will sail out of Long Beach, not the Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro)! This info can be important if you are flying in to tell the taxi/shuttle driver. Equally important if you are driving and go to the wrong port!

Thanks Happyfamily! You are correct! I just looked. I guess it doesn't make much difference. The ports look to be very close to each other. Is that correct?
