I was just recommending San Diego to a British couple on our roll call next door. They were talking about driving to Vegas. If I had my choice, SD would win my vote.

I love San Diego - a nice place to visit and all that... La Jolla is beautiful. The San Diego Zoo is the best zoo I have ever been to - really an all day trip. Seaport village is fun. I love the gaslamp district. It is really booming these days - lots to do.

On one trip some friends of mine posed on the ship and I captured pics of their group from the cam.

Jim, that is great . I know it is a long flight across the US for you. You will love cruising out of San DIego. You should return March 17th and join us on the MS Oosterdam for our 30th ROV Anniversary Cruise. Sher aka localady and her husband are also joining us. There are still lots of good priuced cabins available.
