I just found a California forum on the forum home page. But there's only a thread for SF and SD. I was wondering if anyone had questions about LA as many people start their cruise at San Pedro or Long Beach.

California has four major cruise ports – Los Angeles, San Diego, Long Beach and San Francisco.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

We're going to be stopping at Montery and Catalina Island the end of April and can't seem to find much information on things to do.Any ideas are appreciated.

in Monterey the MUST SEE attraction is the Monterey Bay Aquarium.. one of the best aquariums around.

Monterey is a small town that you can just stroll around, walk along the beach, eat a nice resturant and do some shopping. Its very artsy.

In Catalina, its not that large. You can pretty much do the same as in Monterey. Its very artsy. walk along the beach front. do some shopping. You can rent bikes for the day and get around or do some kayaking or snorkeling. Its a neat little island
