With their two new, larger ships (Dream and Fantasy) under construction, Disney has found a future hoome for the Wonder, which currently calls Port Canaveral its homeport.

The cruiseline has announced that the Port of Los Angeles will be the new home of the Disney Wonder, beginning in 2011, a move that shouldd bring 2,600 new jobs to the Los Angeles area.

The itinerary (or itineraries) for the Wonder iin the west are still udner wraps, but we do know that the contract covers an initial two years, with an option to extend for another three.

I think it would be great fun to cruise on a Disney ship, but unfortunately they are too expensive for our budget. Awesome tho that it will be in LA.

Most likely it will do the Mexican Riviera one. It can't really do a coastal (up the coast) unless it does a Mexican port such as Ensenada or goes all the way to Canada.
