There is a Holiday Inn accross the street.
That is about as close as you can get
The cab ride from the airport is about $7.50.

Thank you ffor the info. and photo. I guess you can get any closer. I guess you can walk to the cruise terminal
If you don't have a lot of luggage you can walk to the cruise terminal from the Holiday Inn.
We have never stayed there.
We have done a lot of pre and post cruises just down the road at the Embassy Suites and use their Shuttle to take us to and from the cruise terminal. They also take use to the airport. We have never used their free shuttle from the airport as we have found that it is just as easy to get a cab to go to the hotel.
The Embassy Suites is within walking distance of Seaport Village, Horton Plaza, Midway, and the Fish Market - a great place to eat.

Cruising is a wonderful way to enjoy retirement!!
Stopped counting after 110 cruises.
Bozilla, I've never stayed there but have had lunch there. It's a nice place and you can walk to the ship from there if you have roller bags![]()

We stayed in the Holiday Inn back in 1999 and it seemed okay. We had done a weekend cruise out of San Pedro and then drove down to SD to see the tall ships that were visiting that week.

Are you driving?? If so, watch out for people running a scam in the parking lot across the street from the pier. A phony "sad story" that asks you for a handout.
Unless you really want to stay at the water front, you can get good motel rates out at the "Motel Circle" about five minutes from the pier, if you are driving. I don't know what a taxi would cost since we always drive to SD
