Cabin selection on enchantment of the seas on the Eastern Caribbean cruise for 9 days

We are booked on The Enchantment of the Seas 9 night Eastern Caribbean cruise out of Baltimore. The Royal Caribbean line. We chose 4500 G category. I have been reading about the best an worst decks and 4th was one of the worst to be on. How can I find out if our cabin 4500 is one that has a lot of noisy.

Here is a deck plan for the Enchantment:

Deck plan M/S Enchantment of the Seas from 01/05/2010 on full screen

As you can see deck 4 is under the Theatre, Casino etc which results in noise during the shows and rehersals.
Cabin 4500 is all the way forward so you should expect noise if the ship is releasing the anchor early in the morning.

Never thought of that. Guess we can't change now. Thanks for the reply.

This is why it's so important to book with a reputable agent; they would have told you where the cabin was and let you know what's above you, beside you, etc. The other problem is that being in the front of the ship, you can often feel the 'motion of the ocean'. And sailing out of Baltimore on a 9-night cruise, you are very likely to encounter some rough seas at sometime during your cruise. The Atlantic is often very unforgiving.

Contact the people you booked this through and ask them if you can change cabins. If any better ones are available in the same category, they can do that for you. You might also want to pay to upgrade to a slightly better cabin; often it's not that much more but can result in a much better cabin.

If you can let us know when you're going, we can check to see what else is available for you.
