    Which way do beds face?

This must seem quite trivial to cruisers; however, my wife has an aversion for travelling backwards on any form of transport that has beds or seats facing the rear. We have a hold on cabin 7572 on Rhapsody OTS but cannot find out from Flight Centre and their contacts or from Royal Caribbean direct (no reply to email) which wall the bedhead will be on - the wall nearest the bow or the stern. Do any cruisers have any thoughts as how else to find out?

    Welcome to Cruiselinefans!

That is an interesting question. I doubt if the shoreside staff knows the individual cabin configuration.

Maybe someone here has been in that cabin or will be sailing on the Rhapsody who could take a peek and find out for you.

    When are you sailing?

    Beds

I would expect for reasons of construction and fit out economy that all cabins would be in pairs - back to back, i.e., bathroom plumbing adjacent in each cabin. I would not expect any one to know off the top of their head individual cabin number layouts. However, referring to a deck plan, if my back-to-back theory is correct, then it should be simple to extrapolate that every alternate cabin has the beds facing the same way - but which way?
    Too simple probably.

There's no better way to find out than to have someone look and see. Deck plans are not always what you think they are. LOL!

    How soon are you sailing?

My Parents have been in 7014 and their head board was forward so they were "traveling backwards" when sleeping. So if the Starboard side is the same way as the Port then 7512 is the same way as 7014 but since there is an extra cabin on the Starboard side 7514 could headboards on the bow side of the room.

BTW 7016 faced forward when sleeping. We had friend next door to my parents while I was in steerage. LOL Deck 2
