Question Celebrity Century Aft Century Suites ??

Has anyone stayed in the Celebrity Century Aft Century Suites ?

    Or have an opinion ?

    Or have a picture ???

There is really good pictures of the Sky Aft Suite, I know it would be below the Sunset Bar, is there a secret stairway ??
Too much noise back there, too smoky ??

I haven't stayed in one, but have been on Century since the makeover.

There is NO privacy on the aft balconies! You can look straight down from the Sunset Bar into all the aft balconies as well a a majority of the side facing balconies in the aft section of the ship.

We were in a Sunset Veranda directly above the Sunset Bar. We had no noise issues from the bar as long as the balcony door was closed. When open, all the sounds were heard.

We had no issue with smoke, either. I believe smoking is allowed only on one side of the Sunset Bar....can't remember if it was port or starboard.

Since Celebrity does not allow smoking in the cabins OR on the balconies you wouldn't have a problem with smoke from your balcony neighbors.

No secret stairway for passengers. There is a crew stairwell that passengers are NOT allowed to use.

If I was going to book a suite on the Century, my preference would be a Sky Suite up on the Sports Deck (deck 12). It is much more private and the balconies are larger than any of the other suites.

We are big Celebrity fans but I, personally, didn't like what they changed on the Century and the way the new balcony cabins were added.

    Red face Thanks Char

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of, Thanks so much for the info. Your insight is very helpful, and the recommendation of Sky Suites on the Resort is excellent advice, the website shows verandahs from 69 sq ft to 149 sq ft, any ideas on which cabin is which ??

ALL the Sky Suites on the Sports Deck (deck 12) have the larger balconies with the exception of the first 2 on each side midship (numbers 1200, 1201, 1202 and 1203) Any of the others would be just fine.

Ok, I know I am obsessing...

Ok, ok, I know....but this ship is not eve close to being booked up for my cruise departing 2/15. So if a different cabin is available, shouldn't I try ???

According to cruisecheap.com, Concierge Class cabins 1122, 1126, 1129 and 1133 have 116 sq foot balconies, and most have only 42 sq ft ?!?

Anyone have eyes on this, or a reason ?? These cabins have 2 upper berths available, but how does this change the cabin so dramatically ???

I have 5 weeks and work is slow.....

I do NOT see how those cabins could have a larger balcony since they are in line with the other cabins along the port and starboard aft section.

The only change in the cabin would be the addition of the upper berths as drop down beds. The cabin itself is the same as all the other CC cabins.

I don't think I would put much credence in those claims.

Do you think this is bad info ?? It doesn't make sense according to the deck plans.....

I believe that to be false information. There is no way those cabins have a larger balcony than the other cabins on either side of them.

If you look at the deck plans on the cruisecheap web site you can see that those cabins all have the same balcony space.
