I have searched high and low for pics of these two cabins, without avail. I can provide photos of 7057 if you desire.
However, based upon my research and reading, there is a small partial obstruction (a ladder) on 7055, and many folks suggested trying to grab 7056, if possible. So, you're safe....you have BOTH. well done.
Also, keep in mind the obstruction I mention is even deemed small by the biggest of critics out there, so you may find yourself pleasantly surprised either way.
Sounds like an exciting voyage? What are you looking forward to most?

DD7055 and DD7056 both have obstructed views. Those are the stairs that go from Deck 8 to Deck 7 to Deck 6, Etc.
Cabin 7057 is an SB Deluxe Suite with verandah and it is a handicapped cabin.
The layout between DD and SB is a big difference. All DD cabins no matter what deck they are on have only partial sea views.
I couldn't find any pictures of the DD.
We are also doing this 14 day Alaskan cruise since it has a couple of new ports for us.
Which date are you sailing?

Cruising is a wonderful way to enjoy retirement!!
Stopped counting after 110 cruises.

We are sailing 8/23/2010 - we were on the 14 day Pacific Princess this past September and can't wait to get back. We missed one port due to weather - Kodiak - and hope to get it next year.
What is your sail date?
is one better than the other or exactly the same?
thanks
Deb
Thanks Tim
I am most excited about Kodiak. Sitka, Homer and Anchorage are all new to me. I thoroughly enjoyed Skagway this year and look forward to more time there in 2010

We are on the June 14th cruise.
Both cabins are the same -- no difference.
