I may be wrong but I think the cabin next door will "wave" the other way so there are no big gaps between the cabins.

hmmm . . . perhaps I'm the lone dissenting vouce here, but I don't hate them. Don't mind them, not head over heals crazy about them, But they are OK with me.

They really don't look smaller than a regular balcony cabin on some other ships. Perhaps smaller than a 'delux' balcony cabin... what class are these cabins?

I've never been seasick ... but that's first thing I thought of when I saw the picture of that cabin.

I just don't see the point of them, unless it is to make a small cabin seem larger

Plus the shower is in the cabin not the bathroom, great for steaming your clothes, but not good for privacy

Eek, I wouldn't like that. Plus, wouldn't that cause a problem with the smoke detectors (my hubby did leave the bathroom door open once while taking a shower on our last cruise, and we got a call telling us to close the door as the smoke detector was sending a signal that there was a problem).
