new on here and would like some advice if possibel
we have booked to go to florida next year and have decided to do a 4 night cruise to bahamas in the middle of holiday - booked RCI- monarch of the seas via TC- their is 6 in our family and asked for rooms together (cheapest room types)
have been allocated room 2004 and 2501 think 1 is outside although only paid for inside cabins
These are the deck plans for your ship. Each room is numbered. 2501 [class 'Q'] is only a few steps from 2004 [class 'H']. 2501 has no outside view. 2004 has a porthole. Both are located in the bow.
The site also provides lots of views of the ship and the staterooms. Browsing it will make the ship less of an unknown when you board her.
Do browse about this site, too. You'll find lots of info on cruising which may be useful in your particular situation.
And don't be shy about asking further questions! We're here to help each other enjoy our favorite recreational activity -- cruising!
My deck plans show 2501 as a triple and 2004 as a double. Something doesn't jive. Just to warn you, these cabins are very small, only about 120 square feet and that includes the bathroom. You might want to check and see the fare if you were to get 3 cabins. It might not be that much more.
If they are in the bow, there is also the chance they will move a lot if the ship is pitching. (front to back movement). I had a cabin in the bow one year, as the bow goes up you get pushed into the bed, then as it drops you feel the bed drop away from under you. Not a nice feeling.

Cruises booked: Queen Victoria November 2009, QM2 May 2010 and Queen Victoria March 2011.
If you want to be next to each other, you may want to communicate that to your TA. Maybe figure out a way to swing the three cabins if needed. Then mark your booking "no upgrade" to make sure no one is moved away from the others.
