We have booked a penthouse suite on NCL Star, suite 10000. The balcony is in the front of the ship and I was wondering if it will be too windy. Should we switch to the Romance Suite that is located in the aft?

Welcome to our friendly cruise community!
No personal experience, but I have heard that the front balcony suites get way too much wind and that at certain times the balcony doors are locked for safety.
I suggest that you ask your question on the NCL forum where more NCL cruisers will see it. Here is the link--> Norwegian Cruise Line
Our NCL Guide is on a cruise right now so he can't answer or research your question....but I'm sure when he gets home he wil respond.
I have had many aft balcony cabins on different cruise lines and they have turned out to be my favorites!
Thanks so much for the info! You sound like a cruising pro!

Forward is always windy when at sea, and worse if it gets rough, my opinion would be aft, I love aft cabins![]()
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
