I just want a king size bed that doesn't have to be pushed together. My husband kept falling in between the mattresses and it was horrible. Are all large beds a combination of two beds? Oh I did love to watch them drain the pools every night on Majesty of the seas but never dreamed there was a cabin below it ack! It was loud enough on deck, then the guys get in with boots and stomp around and sweep the sand out. Great Idea to do this! Thank you so much!
I think the only king size beds are in the penthouse cabins.

Some cabins like the Handicap ones are not twins pushed together, and I think some of the suites. But as a rule mostly they are, but I would speak to the cabin steward if that happens again, they are suppose to put a mat down so that doesn't happen, they have worked so far for us

Good answer Ziggy!!! I forgot about asking for an eggcrate mat.
I agree with what Cruise Planner said on the first page. I would never book an inside room or one that is under the kitchen, dance floor, etc. It's just not worth it.
RCI Radiance class: 9252, 9254, 9652 and 9654. The window washing ladder is stored at both 9252 and 9652. Onlly half the balcony of 9254 and 9654 is usable as the other half is under part of the superstructure of the ship.
The last 2 cabins on both the port and starboard sides of the ships before the aft/stern cabins. Long walk and lousy cabins.

Thanks for the info and I'll add it to the RCI list!!!
If anyone has had, reads about, or hears of a bad cabin, please feel free to post it here. The more we are able to warn people of these, the happier our CLF cruiser's will be.

I have stayed in an inside stateroom (Main deck 1A, but was upgraded to a 4A), not bad for a first cruise. The second time we got a porthole in the front of the ship (I never heard or felt a thing Riviera 5A stateroom), 3rd was also on the Riviera just a bit further down the hall (an inside cabin 4A stateroom). This time we are back on the Main deck about the middle (ocean view room-got a upgrade to a 6B!). So far I haven't met a stateroom I didn't like! We only sleep, clean up and shower there...the rest of the time we are gone...
Had Inside on Carnival Liberty I will never do an inside stateroom again because of it.
Small, no light, no room. Three of us were in there and it was a disaster.
We were all cruise newbies. We are learning now.
