Thread: Brilliance 15th june 09

We have booked our first RCI cruise for June 15th 09 which follows on from our November Ruby cruise and is sandwiched between another Ruby cruise in November 09.

Does anyone have any info regarding the port of Livorno? and which of the 2 ports there that RCI use ? the reason being is that one port is a short journey to the Train/Railway station by bus, and as i understand it the other port is some 5 miles away with no public transport apart from Taxi`s who from what i hear from a local resident of Livrono are in the business of ripping off cruise passengers for their journeys!

Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

you can take a taxi from the port to the train station in Livorno. It will cost you Euro 20.
Royal Caribbean will have a shuttle bus which will cost you $5pp one way. The shuttle stops aprox 2-3 blocks from the train station, so you have to walk or take a local bus to get there.
