Since everyone had to be back on the ship by 1 o'clock, we decided not to take an early morning excursion.
Our ship docked in downtown Kralendijk. Shopping was about a four block walk away ... on sidewalks along the waterfront.
There was a very nice vendor area -- spread out, laid back vendors. We bought t-shirts from the "Bonaire Animal Shelter" and bracelets from the "Donkey Rescue" for our granddaughters.
Most of the stores in town seemed neat and clean ... and were airconditioned. The woman in the drug store was friendly and helpful.
After making our "drug run" we spotted a great bar with a deck extending into the water. Lovely view ... watched boats passing by. Off the deck the water was clear enough to see fish swimming around. Most there were locals and land vacationers ... so it was really fun and interesting to joke and chat with them. Hated when it was time to go back to the ship.
You're so right, Char! Finding a wonderful bar with a LOVELY view where we could chat with locals and others was way more than we ever expected....

Sheila (Canarymoon) .... As a avid snorkeler, you would NOT want to miss the opportunity to snorkel in Bonaire... even if you only had limited time! Normally, we would have done a "water thing"!
Still, we had the most fun "Just Walking Around Town" this time!
