We've only been to Bonaire once but REALLY liked it! We spent the day at a resort and had a totally wonderful time!

Can't wait to go back! Problem is our cruise stop this January is only a half day so don't know what to do!

Bonaire has the best snorkeling. Our last trip there we snorkeled.j

On one trip we took a tour of the island and we both thought it was good.

Only been there once, going back again in December cruise. Hope to see more. Nothing really sticks out in my mind about it.

On our upcoming 2011 cruise we go to the A (Aruba) and the C (Curacao) .... but will miss the B (Bonaire).

While we like Curacao, we'd rather go to Bonaire if we could pick between Bonaire and Curacao.

Are we the only ones who feel this way? Most seem to really love Curacao!

We visted Bonaire for the first time in Mar 2010 and enjoyed our port day there. We took a private 2 hour tour of the northern portion of the island with Hans as our tour guide and had a great time seeing the flamingos, wild donkeys, cactus fences, a variety of bird, wild pigs, beautiful landscape among the many things we got to see. After our tour we wandered around town visiting the shops and the tents set up across from the pier. Many say its among the best of the islands for snorkling. We don't snorkel so that's not a draw for us although I do have to say that looking down into the water walking on the pier between the ship and town it was amazing to see all of the beautiful tropical fish so clearly so if what we did see is any indication of what awaits those that do love to snorkle I'd have to think those reports of the wonderful snorkling must be correct.

Since we don't snorkle Bonaire isn't high on our list of places to revisit but we did enjoy getting to see the island and if it were to be on a future itinerary we'd either choose to do a southern tour with Hans or spend the day at Sororbon Beach and I'm sure we'd have a good time with either choice.

I really like Bonaire. It is one of the few places in the world where I actually had a go at snorkelling. The first time there I went out on a dive boat because OH is a diver so i just got tme on my own learning how to snorkel while all the divers went under water.
2nd time there we just wandered around and found a nice bar and watched the world go by...nice and peaceful

Bonaire was nice. Kind of small but the beaches are pretty. We liked Sorobon Beach a lot.
