Bon voyage Ken!

Thanks everyone but I will not be cruising tomorrow. Dad had to be hospitalized on Tuesday, so I have decided to stay back and Michelle will go as planned. She will be with JV & Linda.
I've been on Family Leave and at the hospital. He's resting comfortably, no pain but his problem is worse that originally thought. Not sure when he will be discharged, but until he is, I will be here sporadicly for the time being.

Char & LuLu, I dropped Michelle, JV and Linda to the port. When I got to the hospital, he was doing great when I saw him on Friday morning, so I told the nurses that I would go on the cruise since I would be away for just one day, gave them my business card with my phone number to contact me if they needed anymore authorizations or if anything came up. I stayed with him until 2 pm on Friday afternoon. There's nothing better than living close to the port, I drove home(about a 5 min drive) packed my bag and headed to Port Everglades and boarded the Miracle. It was a great getaway, so I eventually got to go.
When I called the hospital a second time yesterday as we were departing Nassau, I was told he was discharged, so I informed the nurse who I spoke to on Friday that I would pick him up when we returned this morning. He's home now and is doing well.

In the mean time, I'm bacccck

LuLu, don't know if you heard this in the news or not, but the Carnival Fantasy was in port with us in Nassau yesterday and some brilliant soul tried to jumped from one deck to the other below, fell and died. That happened on Friday night. Saw it on the news when I was in my cabin last evening.
