Bon voyage to Michael!

He called me today. He had some time after breakfast to get off the ship. He sounds so happy. He is making freinds and is liking the islands. Found a jam at the Kona farmer's market that he wants to buy for his breakfasts. And is taking pics when he can. I hope once he starts actual work on Sat that he continues to like it. And that they are happy with him and offer another contract.

Michael passed all of the Coast Gurad tests. He is working in the kitchen of the Cadillac Diner. Don't know what his hours are though, could be any as it is open 22 hours a day. Also don't know what safety job he has.

That's great news, Nancy!
And now the daily grind starts...this will be like nothing he has ever done before. What stories he will have to tell after he has been there for awhile.
