Bermuda is a nice place to go to

you must visit the royal naval dockyard, in the dock yard and area they have glass blowing shows, and the glass blowing factory, also a pottery store where you can see them make pottery and buy some items that are hand made. also near there is a snorkel park beach with water slides in the water which is really nice and a beach cafe in the snorkel park, and there is a nice little mall or shopping area to get good buys from and local items. hamilton bermuda is nice they have a louis vittoiun there and expensive nice jewlery stores there and souviner shops to. also down the street there is a local sun glass shop where you can get all designer sunglasses, nice little cafe's and places to eat in hamilton. and you can see other cruise ships docked there to.

    Hi Heather,
Thanks for the great info! We leave on a cruise to Bermuda in May - did you get to St. George? If so, did you prefer Hamilton or St. George? Really looking forward to this cruise - Bermuda sounds so lovely ... only drawback is we have such a short time there. Hard to fit everything in!

    hello
we didnt get time to go to St george only hamilton, but so far in my opinion hamilton is really nice, there is polictican office just like you see here major business office and nice little shopes and cafe and places to eat over looking the water, we were afraid if we went to st george that we would miss our farry or not get back in time to the ship or something or that we didnt want to get lost. but hamilton is very nice and the royal naval dockyard has some exiciting history to.

Thanks, Heather. We probably won't make it to St. George either for the same reasons you stated. Looking forward to seeing naval dockyard and Hamilton. Thanks again!

dont forget to take tons of pics, also while going to hamilton in the ferry ship you get to see some lavish homes on the land near the water, and it looks like famous celebritys reside there during the hot days so beautiful homes they got there and the water is like a aqua green blue color

We haven't been to Bermuda in quite a while ... and not because we didn't like it!

You folks are making us want to go back ... SOON!

Bermuda is a place I'd really like to see, but can't seem to get DH real fired up about it.

You just don't hear as much about Bermuda as a cruise destination as you do a lot of other places.

We're sailing on Saturday to celebrate my 50th! Can't wait to go snorkeling and see the Botanical Gardens. We've arranged to have a 3-hour tour in accessible van on Tuesday, so my DH can see the island from his powerchair. I'll post an update when we return.

We'll be returning for our fourth time in about two months. Love the ride down, and the two days docked. Just wish we could stay longer, but we'll keep up our annual trek until we tire of it.
