We had a fantastic time taking a ship's excursion that picked us up directly from the ship and took us to a private island resort sort of thing. .

It's a tender port so it was great to avoid having to tender first and then get on another boat!

NCL offers a shore excursion to Barrington Cay which is what we do.

If I don't know the answer I'm fairly certain I can find it.

A bad day at sea is better than a good day at work.

We took the boat ride down (up??) the river and had a great time seeing the howling monkeys, crocs and the scenery. By signing up for the excursion on the ship we were escorted right to the tender and didn't have to wait to leave the ship.

Cave tubing was top of our list for Belize and we found the same combo tour, where we zipped and did the cave tubing. If you have never done zipline, this is a great place to do it. The rainforest in Belize is beautiful and healthy. I have done a zipline in mexico that was at a man made zipline park and it just doesnt compare.

I second the suggestion, zipline and cave tubing and you will have an awesome day in belize.

I've read some very good things about the cave tubing. Sounds like its one of those 'once in a lifetime' opportunities.

Also seems like you're best off with one of the local operators rather than taking the cruise line excursion.
    Unbelievably good Cruise Deals!
