That possibly had to do with the parts that you saw and what you did there. Sounds like you had a really nice experience. This is a relatively new port and ships only stop there once a week so they do not have the benefit of the tourism dollars that other ports had. Our biggest disappointment though was the waterfall adventure. It was much more difficult the get there then you would think by reading the description and when we got there it was basically dried up. Apparently it has gone from about 30 ft wide last year to just about 5 ft this year.

We have been to Belize twice also and enjoyed it very much both times.

I agree, that it really makes a huge difference of what you do at each port. And that is what makes these boards so interesting. Sharing both the good and bad experiences at each port.

We moved u to Townsend last summer, but I lived in Milw for 32 yrs and Lynette was born there.

Guatemala.

This must have been for the exercise as it sure wasn't for the waterfall, as advertised. Still this was probably the most scenic of our tours.
