We love Belize and will be visiting for the third time in December. We have done Shark Ray Alley, Reef snorkelling and Caye Caulker. This time we are doing Bannister Island and Snorkeling. Sometimes it is a bit of a hassle getting off the ship when you don't have a ship excursion booked but it is worth it...

We don't like Belize at all. We are not into diving or snorkelling. When we wandered outside the fenced area at the dock, we were more uncomfortable than at any other port.

Snorkeling, diving, swimming, that's your best bet in Belize.
Belize has the worlds 2nd largest barrier reef!!!

Could you tell me if there is anything to see inside the gates?? Vendors or anything? My husband is disabled and because it is a tendered port he won't be able to take his electric scooter. thank you!

Vendors are about all I remember being inside the gates. This was 3 or 4 years ago, but I doubt that much has changed since then.

Folks who have been there recently can verify what is now available.
