Today Chudley posted quite a few items on Belize which has peaked my interest. I personally don't know anyone who has been there. I would love to know more about it. Would you share your experiences with me please? I promise I won't keep them to myself.

We have beene on a couple of cruises that stopped there.

Twice, I did snorkeling things there . . .

Once, when I cruised with DD, we were there on Belize Independence day. Didn't book an excursion that time. Just wanted to see what it would be like on a big holiday there. It was fun.

There's a free pirate museum that's worth every penny.

Kids would like it.
There is a second story porch, with pirate shirts and hats that you can put on to take your piucture dressed up like a pirate.

Down in the yard, lots of vendor booths set up - it was like running a gauntlet to get to the door of the museum.

Don't know if this was normal, or only because of the big holiday.

You have to get out of and away from the pier area to see anything. Big plastic area right where the tenders drop you off.

I have really enjoyed snorkeling there. Nice, clear water.
