We took the "Priviate Island Beach Break" which we REALLY enjoyed!

I snorkeled while we were in Belize and then went to the private island.

The City of Belize itself is rather poor, and my son received a real eye opener for a kid from the burbs. He and DH went on a Airboat trip through the mangroves outside of Belize and just loved it. As DS was the only kid on the tour, he was invited to sit up with the airboat operator.

They both enjoyed the excursion very much.

Both the snorkeling and the airboat excursion were booked though the ship.

I been a number of times.

Some pics from a snorkel / bannister - I wasn't thrilled with Bannister, but mostly because they wouldn't let me snorkel there - the swimming area is limited. Also I'm not a beach person, so not a whole lot there for me.
