Help with Cave Tubing in Belize

I am escorting a group in November on the Carnival Valor. We have 22 people in our party. All want to do the cave tubing excursion. I have been searching on line looking for tour guides that can accomodate this size of group. One of the things we want is to keep our group private, we do not want to be mainstreamed in with other groups. I have found a couple that do offer an air conditioned bus. We also want to be assured that life jackets are available for those who want one and that lunch is also included. I have received a couple great prices from 2 vendors that I sent inquiries to. The first is Belize Cave Tubing with Cave-Tubing.com :: Masters of the Caves in Belize and the other is Explore Belize Caves if you have used either of these tour guides or know any that have; any feedback would be greatly appreciated. One wants a deposit on my credit card of 20% for the group, the other said we just need to reserve and that we would pay at the port when the excursion began.

Thanks in advance for any advise.

Have you checked over on Cruise Critic? There is a lot of talk there about cave tubing excursions on the Belize board.

Thanks Michelle, I will do that. I have narrowed it down based on what they have available for this size group, just want to find out if anyone has used any of these tour guides in the past and what their opinion of them are.

We have used X-stream Cave Tubing and they were excellent. They have a group price too, they included it on the email. They have really nice vans, and the tour was very personalized. We went beyond the river entrance that the other tours were using and went further up the river so we saw more caves. One other great point, is that they meet you right in the port. Belize city is not very nice from what I saw and heard. We didn't have to walk outside to find our guides, they were right in the port at the X-stream booth.

Thumbs up

We used Donald of ( A BELIZE CRUISE ADVENTURE AND TRAVEL - A Bravenet.com Hosted Site ) . He is one of the best in Belize . His services are not expensive and the quality of service is amazing. I was with my relatives and friends ( 19 of us), our time was well managed and we were not joined by any other groups. We were allowed to stop to shop, and for lunch. We also had time to do the City Tour. We were taken back to the terminal approximately 2 hours before the last tender. Donald is the best for group travel and you will find his services useful.
