    Do You Lock Your Luggage?

I know it is senseless to lock luggage on the airlines because they will cut them, but due to hearing about theft, not much but some, we lock ours before it goes on the ship. We take plastic ties and put them on when we get it out of the baggage claim at the airport. You need to make sure you have something to cut them off. We just toss some fingernail clippers in the side pocket. The small locks that come with the luggage are useless and can be picked in seconds. We don't carry anything of value in the checked bags, unless you count the booze

I never have, either flying, or before boarding!! I have never had a problem. Not in my cabin either!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

On one board I used to hang out on, there was quite a thread going about people how'd had things taken from their luggage. Reading enough of that convinced me to use the plastic ties. It's probably not a big deal because as I said before, we never out anything of any real value in it.

Anything valuable is with me all the time in my carryon, not that the clothes and shoes aren't valuable!!

Bombero, if the TSA wants to look, they just cut the locks, no big deal. What I pack must look suspicious going thru the x-ray machines because I've gotten more than one of those notices in my bags that they've checked it. Must be that booze In San Diego last Oct, coming back from a cruise to Mexico, they actually searched me! I haven't been felt up that good since high school
