We've learned to pack some form of stool softener/laxative and Imodium. You never know which you might need. Also, we pack cold medicine just in case.

That's a great suggestion. Should have done that last time, will do it this time!

If you are on a ship that has an ice rink, are you allowed to bring your own skates? (we aren't, but if we were I would want to know this)

Binoculars!!!
Decorations: Door/balcony????

How many pack your own pillow?

I noticed in the RCI Compass that it says "must have own skates" in a few different places. I can't imagine trying to find room to pack ice skates....

Binoculars -- glad you mentioned that! Gotta find mine!

a six outlet power strip to plug in all the chargers for the cameras, hair curlers, dryers, etc. 2 different color highliters so both of us can color which activity we want to participate in. Post-it notes for messages to each other and /or messages to the room steward.
A box of wine for cocktails in the cabin prior to dinner.

My Signature 27 cruises and countin'!
Next cruise, July 12-26, 2008. NCL Jade 13 night cruise around the British Isles, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris.

Here's some things we NEVER forget to pack for a cruise:

Battery-powered alarm clock (won't trust the wake-up calls...know too many people who got screwed)
Immodium AD
Power strip
Benedryl (In case I get bit by mosquitoes)
Dental Floss
Nail polish remover pads (they pack flat, are disposable, and won't have any chance of leaking all over your suitcase)

That's a start for us...

Cork screw for Karen's wine. I could use a beer bottle opener but as long as I still have teeth I can get by with out. :headbang2

Yeah...extra camera batteries and a memroy card is good too...

We lucked out in London this year...I accidentally packed both battery rechargers...turned out to be a good thing too because the first night we were there, one of them died...could you imagine if I had only brought one?? We would've been SO S.O.L. !!!!!

My camera doesn't use AA or AAA or 9V batteries, it's a special Li-Ion that would've been impossible to find another charger in London!!
