We take a large trash bag or two, too, to stash the dirty clothing in the cabin closet. At some point, we hit the laundry room so it's easy for hubby to carry the bag. After washing, drying and folding, we can easily split up the laundry to carry back to the room. With our sedans, though, it's hard to take a lot of items. Hubby just fixed up his ancient van for several reasons, and said that for our next cruise, we'll use it to transport our stuff to the port or airport. Just needs to have a third seat installed.
As for the cigarette in the doctor's office, I would think that would show an addiction to the nth degree. I've worked in my father's office (and in another doctor's office) and have never seen anyone smoking any kind of cigarette. But if I had, I would have told them to leave. Don't care if it's smokeless or not.
