    Pack it folders and cubes

Has anyone here had any experience with an (in particular) Eagle Creek Pack it Folder or the packing cubes? If you have, can you tell me about them? Do you think they're worth the money and do they help you with space management in your bag. I'm considering purchase of two of them, one for my hubby and one for myself. I watched a video and was pretty impressed, but I have to admit, I'm sort of treating it like it's an infomercial. I would rather hear from someone directly who has used them.

My wife and I have both the folders and a variety of sizes of the cubes. We've been using them for about 3 years and love them.

They are great at organizing things, help reduce wrinkling, and IF the TSA inspectors open your bag, they tend not to tear everything apart because they can see what's in the cubes.

Thanks so much Tom! I have been packing another way that I actually found on youtube, but I saw these on the Today Show and have been tempted to buy hubby and I a set. I really wanted to hear from someone that had used them. The TSA has opened our bag before, so that is good to know!

I've used the packing cubes, but not the folders yet. The smaller cubes are wonderful for undergarments, especially if your bag(s) need to be opened at the airport. It's amazing how much they hold, but I do love the organization you get from them also.

I'm an organization nut, especially when it comes to my luggage. I use a packing method, but these look so much easier than what I usually do. I really wanted to hear from someone who owned them if they were worth the extra cost....I do think I am going to pick some up.

I use a variety of sweater bags. As others have said, it's easier for inspection, rather than someone digging through your items. I can even organize by each person. Then I can hand my DH is own bag and let him unpack and store things his own way!

I keep reading this thread but have no idea what you are talking about.

They come in all shapes and sizes. Check 'em out here

Once you click on an item there will be a video that you can click on to see how it works.

YouTube - Eagle Creek Pack-it system

I like how organized this makes everything! It's sort of based on a system I use now without the folder, YouTube - Packing Method for Weeks of Travel in a Carry-On Suitcase but the folder makes it easier looking and maybe a few less wrinkles.
