HAL, I have been told, does the same thing. Really a nice touch.

Always.....................

I always take Bino's on a cruise.

We actually us a type of Opera Glasses with distance.

We always use them to view ports from the ship or when on the tours, from observation decks to see the sites.

I use to use and take regular size ones and learned how big they were.

Small is the best way to go, they work.

LuLu, definitely take them for the Panama Canal. And in your carry-on; even though the ones I take aren't expensive, they go in my carry-on with my other "equipment" -- cameras, chargers, etc. -- so I'll be sure to have them before we sail. Even in the Caribbean, they've been great to look at passing islands, approaching ports, ports from our balcony, other ships, flying fish, and even a whale once.
