    Question One Special Item

What is that one special item that you must take on your cruise (excluding the obvious like your spouse, kids, etc.) that most people forget? We are taking a 9-night cruise and I want it to be relaxing and enjoyable - especially in our balcony cabin, despite the 'hotel feel' they have... this may be 2 different issues, but either way, your opinions would be appreciated on that one special item or things that make your cabin more comfortable....

Travel clothes steamer? Room deoderizer or scented air freshners? iPod dock for cabin music? running shoes? books? clothes? earplugs?

An insulated travel mug, so I can have a LARGE cup of coffee in the AM, without it getting cold. If you ask my DH, he'll say it is a necessity (when Momma is happy, everyone is happy).

For the cabin, a small flashlight. It's my security blanket.

Else, reading material (a chick lit book, a puzzle magazine). Even when I'm in a deck chair, I usually feel like doing something.

Thank you friends - I travel with a flashlight everywhere I go, too. What about a night light for the kiddos' interior cabin?

[Even when I'm in a deck chair, I usually feel like doing something.]

I absolutely can't sit for longer than 5 minutes w/o having a puzzle book, reading book, or something to do - little Type A personality here.

I have lots of electronics that need to be charged, so I take along an outlet expander so that I can plug in more than one thing at a time.

I bring along Aromatherapy Sleep products from Bath and Body Works. They help me sleep better at night, especially after a long day of sightseeing, and I never feel tired the morning after. My favorites are Lavender Chamomile room spray, Lavender Chamomile lotion and Warm Milk and Honey pillow mist.
