What do you carry in your carry-on luggage?

I can understand the loo seat, but how does the shower head get so dirty it needs to be disinfected?

If you're flying on Virgin Atlantic, don't bother bringing a roller carry on. They limit you at 15#!!!! And they actually weigh them before you get to the check-in desk!! If it's over the 15#, you have to shift everything into your actual luggage or check it in. You should've seen us shifting stuff and all we had in there to start with was my jewelry, medications, and a change of clothes for the both of us (not including shoes!). By the time we were done shifting, we had my jeans, his shirt and my jewelery and meds...this came to 14.4#!

On the way back, we went ahead and checked it in .... it just wasn't worth it!

I imagine there is all kinds of gunk and sediment, as you'd probably find around most plumbing fixtures. I have to admit, that IS a nasty thought. But I have to wonder who was the first person on a cruise ship who said...hmmm...I think I'll unscrew that showerhead and take a look!
