Speaking of luggage tags, Carnival used to send out tags with an elastic band to make it easy to tag one's luggage. Now, they are including a paper copy in the ticket booklet, or requiring that you print them from the internet. On the last couple of cruises, I've had to use reinforced packing tape on the back side as well as taping the ends together that way. I'm not carrying a stapler or tape with me, and it's hard to find someone to help, especially after you've travelled on a shuttle bus, and watch your luggage being unloaded, knowing you won't see it again until it shows up in front of your stateroom. Has anyone else had this experience?
By the way, have a safe journey. Hope your luggage doesn't get lost. (If American Airlines starts charging for the first bag, and they LOSE it, will they pay US back??? HA!)
