    Lands End Zip Top Totes??

Has anyone ever traveled with lands end zip top totes before? Has anyone ever used them like luggage? I am thinking of getting my two youngest girls the xlarge bag for their clothes. Any suggestions, would be great.

Might be kind of heavy to carry... at least suitcases have wheels... and spinner wheels are even better...

No, but, I've ordered 4 of the "custom" L.L.Bean ziptop bags, with our names on them. I've purchased them for Cruise Surprises, for my upcoming Independence of the Seas, for my two sisters and mom, and I. I got the small for everyone, except me, I got medium. I think they will be ideal to carry, shades, hat, book, sunscreen, etc to the pool. And, I think after the cruise, there perfect purse size, and a good reminder of the family cruise.. I picked different colors according to each persons preference. I'm so excited! I'm also thinking of packing each with little gifts, 6 so they can open one every day on the cruise.. Now I'm trying to figure something for the gents along on the cruise, my Dad and brother in law. Any ideas?

I think as suitcases, they would be to heavy for anything but a 2 or 3 day cruise.. go with wheels....

Yes, wheels are now a must. I would end up carrying my 7 year old's bag along with mine. Not a good mental picture.

What a great idea about the bags!! I never thought about doing that, but I think I am going to. Our cruise is over Christmas and that would give my girls one gift to open every day since we won't be home to open up presents on Christmas Day.
