Thread: What is the wait time for a Passport?

When will we need passports to crusie from US port to Canadian port...???

Becca, I do believe you need them now. It's not a matter of being in a canadian port, but rather, re-entering the US.

I applied for mine on Feb 1, 2008. I had it in my hand on Feb 19th! I believe that was 11 business days. I think if the mail would have run on President's day I would have had it then. I went to our county courthouse and applied there, plunked down my picture and my hard eraned money with paper work (of course if I applied the day before it would have been a little cheaper!)

It sounds like they are back to a manageable turn around time
