It seems to be fairly inexpensive, so I was thinking so too. You just never know what might happen and I would hate to loose all that money!

Should you just go with what ever the travel agent suggests? Are there better deals?

We have never purchased insurance in 16 cruises.

Aha ... an opposing opinion! And I assume you've never wished that you had purchased the insurance?

I had to use insurance one time for a vacation when I had a fainting spell (asphyxia induced) and ended up in the ER 2 days before our trip. With the insurance, we were able to postpone the trip by one week and only had to pay a $40 penalty...

Had we not had the insurance, we would've been out of the money.

One of our members here got snowed in at the airport and couldn't get to the port and if she hadn't had the insurance, she would have been out every penny. You just never know.
