Thread: "Tiami Five-Star Catamaran w/Lunch & TURTLE Encounter" REPORT

We always book the Tiami. It is a beautiful Catamaran & always a blast. The others we always book are The Tango or Lambada (same company owns these) in St. Maarten. We will be in St. Maarten for 10 days in May. I'll book the Tango Sunset Cruise before we even get there. Sooo much fun, lots of drinking & dancing, the food is wonderful & the staff is fantastic.

Bonnie, hope we'll be lucky enough to be in Barbados late at some point so we can try the Tango Sunset Cruise. Bet it's great!

Lulu, how much time did you actually spend swimming with the turtles? Approximate?

On our first visit to Barbados, we took the ships tour with Tiami Catamaran and had a great time. We decided to do it again, and pre-booked the 5-Star Catamaran & Turtle Encounter with lunch. The Tiami crew is one of a kind. From sailing, to snorkeling, to serving….they really go the extra mile. After 6 cruises…this is still my favorite excursion of them all.

Sailing up the Gold Coast of Barbados is very scenic. We swam with sea turtles so close, you could almost touch them.

They serve fruit juices and banana bread in the morning.

We lunched on flying fish, chicken, pasta, and dessert. It was served buffet style right on the boat at the beach. After snorkeling, the mixed drinks and beer flow. Barbados’ beautiful golden sand beaches, the sparkling turquoise waters, and the hot sun shining on my smiling face say it all.

For non-snorkelers...you can actually see the turtles when they surface right from the boat. On the ride back to the ship, they point out the homes of the rich and famous along the shoreline. It's amazing. They sell crew t-shirts onboard as well.

This is an excursion NOT TO BE MISSED.

This is right now #1 on my list for November. Can't wait

We've taken bunches of very good catamarans in the Caribbean and this one remains our favorite. The crew is outstanding. We did the 5-Star Tiami even before they had the turtle stop. It's always been great!

Lulu, of course I didn't. Just not having been to Barbados, I wanted to explore my options. I should have not wasted my time
