Thread: Harrison's Cave hs re-opened....Temporarily

Hi Guys,

Jus to let all those who have been asking that the caves have now reopened temporarily. The will be open for April 1 to the end of the May.

This is primarily to cater to the visitors who will be in for the cricket world cup(Official Website of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 - Powered by indya.com) but I am sure those of you who maybe on the island at this time will be happy to utilize it also.

It will close at the end of May and reopen again in November fully.

Have you been there and if so...do you think it worthwhile?

We have been to Harrison's Caves a couple of times and wanted to see them again on our last cruise. We thoroughly enjoyed them. There was a sign on the information desk in the terminal that they would be closed in definitely -- we were just there a couple of weeks ago.

Marleneann...honestly even though i've lived on the island all my life, i have never been to the caves(how crazy is that) but all persons who I know personally that have gone have raved about it. Its a must see

Krazy Kruizers...it actually hasn't reopened as yet. It will on April 1 until the end of May. Then it reopens again in November...permanently.

Do you when in November the caves will reopen? I'll be in Barbados on Sunday November 11 and am hoping the caves will be open by then.

Rod...we have not been provided with an exact date as yet but I believe it should be ready by the time you get here but you just never know. As it gets closer we should have a more definitive time frame. So stayed tuned to this channel.
