Hey..don't worry. Those ships get out of the way of those hurricanes. You may not get to go to the ports you were supposed to go to, but variety is the spice of life they say.
What ship are you on?
Our RC forum is updated about 2 times daily on where/what. Let me go find the link for you.

You might also just check the RC section tomorrow to see if there is an update on your particular cruise.
But don't fret...the cruise will great. It might be a little rocky, but that should be it.

And, soon, there is pretty likely to be one for Hurricane Ike. He's not close enough, but may be befor ethe 8th.
Watch for it.
You might end up missing Nassau... or CocoCay... or both.
Be prepared to be at the port EARLY on the day of sailing.
Be prepared to adjust your plans for your travel home.
We were on the Sovereign whe Hurricane Jeanne hit. Our three day cruise turned into a four day one. We missed CocoCay, missed Nassau... the ship sailed down and sat off the coast of Cuba for a couple of days, where it was safe from the storm, and the weather was much nicer.
On Monday, we were supposed to return to Port Canaveral, we didn't - went to Nassau instead. (The storm was still hitting Port Canaveral)
On Tuesday, we disembarked in Ft Lauderdale, and, as soon ass the roads were opened, sent bus loads of people to Port Canaveral, along redently hurricane ravaged routes. Others were bussed to the Miami, Ft Lauderdale, or Orlando airports, depending on what alternate flights they were able to get.
OH!
And in addition to getting to your port of departure early and having flexible return plans...
It wouldn't hurt to take some of your favorite motion sickness remedy and/or preventitive, as there's a better than even chance of encounterine some rough seas.
UPDATE -- Sovereign of the Seas, which departed Port Canaveral Monday, September 1, will sail a revised itinerary. The ship will visit Nassau, Bahamas, Tuesday; and Key West, Florida, Wednesday, spending the night and departing Thursday morning.
The next sailing, departing Port Canaveral Friday, September 5, is expected to sail as scheduled. Guest booked on this sailing should continue to monitor these postings for further updates.
Mariner of the Seas, which departed Port Canaveral Sunday, August 31, will sail a modified itinerary. The ship will not visit Coco Cay, Bahamas, Monday, but will makes its scheduled port calls in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Wednesday; and Philipsburg, St. Maarten, Thursday.

It is had telling where you will end up but if I stays on it's projected path you many not see the Bahamas.
I am sailing on the Mariner 9/7 and I do not expect we will run as scheduled.
They could do the ports in reverse.
It should be an adventrous week, not knowing where we are going.
And not really caring as long as we stay away from the storms.
