Nassau offers me nothing! Been there many times and now we just stay on the ship when in that port. Over priced and crowded would be my thoughts.
If you've never been there, you should see it. But once you've been to Nassau, you've been to Nassau.
Now, I still like it for snorkeling, but don't know what else there would lure me off the ship...
The piratae Museum is cute - if you're 10.
The horse and buggy ride is interesting ONCE - IF you ask a LOT of questions and the guide has lots of answers.
The forts never saw a battle... though the guides do a bang-up job of telling a good story with the material they have to work with.
In all honesty - Never been to Atlantis. It's a HOTEL, for Pete's sake. Don't get the reason anyone would go to A tropical destination to see a hotel. Kind of like going to Munich to find a McDonald's. No matter how fancy it might be, it's still a fast food joint.
Mediocre to me.

I voted, see not a jerk ...LOL
I do not mind polls like this what would help others...
Anyway, not impressed honestly. It was nice, too much bartering made the GF uncomfortable, streets seemed dirty and did not give me that "safe" feeling. But I do not trust people and being in a tourist area in a country with poor people makes me do a lot of looking around..
The water was beautiful and the casino (Atlantis) was absolutely one of the nicest I have seen!

Atlantis is really nice in a Disney World sorta way. Overall the island does not impress me that much but I do want to go back and see the flamingo gardens. Last time we had a great guide -m a native who did not mind giving a locals perspective on things (Big T was a hoot "Those houses are all owned )for foreigners. The natives know that when we get a hurricane, that area is sure to flood......"
I have been to freeport, but Never been to Nassau, but if Nassau is the same as freeport I would say............once is enough 4 me.

Problem is that we really DISLIKE our port stops in Nassau because they tend to be Jan/Feb with the weather is "iffy" and the water is normally too cold for me.
On the other hand we have been in Nassau/Bahamas in the late spring on land trips and just loved it. There really are some lovely beaches!![]()
