I'll be on an 8/17 NCL Spirit cruise that will be making a port call at Nassau, Bahamas. I'm very interested in booking an excursion with NCL for the Atlantis Aquaventure, but the $129 for 4-hours that NCL is selling is pretty steep.

Does anyone know anything about Comfort Suites right next door to Atlantis? I've heard you can book with them for access to all of Atlantis' facilities, but there is a 2-night minimum? Has anyone done this recently and can shed some light?

And how much can we expect to pay for a taxi from the Nassau cruise port to Atlantis for 6 people? Do Bahamian taxis go by a base rate + additional charge every 1/4 mile like in New York? Thank you!

We are going there in Oct.and are booked at the Comfort suites for the day.I used the Kayak travel web site.A room for two right now is running $158.00 +tax and housekeeping,energy charge.You can get four people in a room for $40.00 each addl. person.If you have 6 people you will have to get two rooms.It is $4.00 each person one way for a taxi.You can take a ferry ride for $3.00 each but there is a little bit of a walk to Atlantis.There is not a two night mim.on this website.You also can check in early for your armbands.
