Hubby and I will be going to Sydney in April 2007.

Anyone got anything they'd like to share?

Hotels, tours, flights? Anything?:icon_smil

I'm pretty hungry for information.

We'll be in Sydney for 9 days before boarding the Sapphire for a 29day cruise.

Has anyone used Priceline for hotels in Australia?

No, I'm not joining you; but I just wanted to tell you that my oldest son lives in Slidell!!! He is in the process of moving, but small world!!

He was the director of ICU at North Shore.

If you want info on Australia and New Zealand, go to our website at www.thepreismans.com and click on our Diamond Princess review with pictures. Mike included hotel info and all kinds of stuff you'll need to know.

Just noticed that you are going to the Baltic, too. We have an older review on the website for that one; but it was before we learned how to book private tours, so all of the tours are through Princess.

on a Princess board on CC. I even invited him for coffee when he comes to Slidell <yikes>

I beat ya to it. I've already been through your entire site. It is great and I venture to say that lots of other 2007 Sydney goers have found it

It would be fun to meet in Slidell when the two of you come to visit your son and grandson.

Mike and I were on the CC board complaining about that silly little thing called 'work' that keeps cropping up and preventing all of us from booking long exotic Princess cruises

Since my son is starting his new job in Crestview on Monday, he will be moving. So, I guess we will have to meet you on a cruise some day instead of in Slidell.

Oh No! They are leaving Slidell?....wish it were us..we hate it here since Katrina. We too are leaving as soon as possible.

If that is the Crestview over by Pensacola, I'm sure you are happy that they are coming your way

If you keep cruising Princess, surely our paths will cross.

Have fun cruising and don't forget to look for pricing coming out from Princess on Monday for 2008 exotic ports. The 102 world cruise will be priced.

Yep, same Crestview; but that's still a very long way from us. Driving from Boynton Beach takes about 10 hours to get to Crestview.

At least when they were in LA we had an excuse to fly.

Katrina did a number on Slidell. My son was lucky that his home was on the east side of the interstate, and his damage was repairable. It's a very nice two story in a good neighborhood, if you know anybody who's looking.

I guess I'd better get off of your thread, or you'll never get any cruisemates to post.
