Thread: Bridge director & Duplicate games

Do any of the cruiselines still have a Bridge Director who gives lessons in the am and has a Duplicate game in the pm?

On our Grand Princess this past February there was a Bridge Director.

I went to one of the "What would you bid" things one morning.

Duplicate was offered and at one time I loved duplicate but am too rusty at this point.
Think it was always in the afternoon, none that I remember in the evenings.

Gosh, I was just happy to see they had a bridge director. Lots of ships no longer do.

Tell me, were there lots of sea days? Some lines may have a bridge director if there are more sea days.

It was 14 Days and fairly port intensive .... only four full days at sea.

Strangely, we were on Island Princess the year before for 20 days and lots more days at sea but no bridge director.

Don't know if HAL still has a bridge director but we use to love to play bridge on HAL. Maybe Yonnie will know.
