Thread: Suggestions for February Vacation?

I need to figure out something to do with my kids during February's school break. We can fly out on 2/20, and need to be back by 2/27. My kids are 4 year old girl and 9 year old boy. I would prefer a port which we can get a direct flight to and from either BOS or MHT. Most likely would be four adults in the party. I'm open to suggestions, even sales pitches if the forum policy allows.

There are several to choose from including some of the RCCL ships, which would have more amenities than some of the others. Specifically you might want to look at the Allure of the seas, which would be rather expensive, or the Freedom of the Seas. If you want cheaper, then look at Carnival, especially the Valor and the Glory. If you want nicer, Princess also has the Ruby Princess, Holland America has the Nieuw Amsterdam, and Celebrity has the Solstice.

It really depends on what type of cruising experience you want, your lifestyle, your budget, and where you want to go.

Contact your agent and they will be able to answer your questions, provide specific information, prices, and availability. Using someone who is a Cruise Specialist is highly suggested as they have been there and done that.

Don't wait too long because that's a popular time to travel and prices have a tendency to go up.

NCL has a Nickolodean cruise out of NY which might be good for the kids. I believe it is the 19th or the 20th, if the 19th, they have another ship leaving NY on the 20th, no theme.
