Thread: Fuel Supplement - Are any cruise lines doing this yet?

Hopefully the CLF members who are going on cruises within the next few weeks could check to see if they have to pay anything additional (I'm guessing they'll get another invoice or it'll be on their shipboard account).

Oil went over $90 bbl today.
Supplements can't be far off.

I sure hope they hold off til next week.

If they are adding it into the price of the cruise then they are putting it in as non-commissionable fare so they are not paying us commission on it.

One of the 'boutique' lines I deal with is increasing their gateway prices and air taxes this week to account for the fuel.

Can they add it on after final payment date? If they do, does one's TA call and let you know so you can authorize payment for it?
