    Not on Princess. If the lower rate is a new offer, they cancel and rebook. Then move the funds to the new booking. At least that's what they did with my clients.

    I've had this happen in very rare occasions - usually associated with a special circumstance or when working with a new sales rep who doesn't know how to do it so they take the quick and easy way out. I've just gotten to where I go onto OneSource and make the change myself and have never had any problems. Works easier than calling them.

    On the same subject.

    There was a lower price offered for my cabin category, but I was unable to get it because I have only sailed with Princess 1 time. Is this kind of like RC and their diamond/platinum thing?

    What was the reason given for not giving you the lower rate? If it's a special for new bookings only, then I can understand that. But if you have not made final payment and it's not for new bookings only, then you should be able to get the lower rate.

    Final payment has been made Pete. The reason was as stated in the post above yours. Not enough sailings with Princess.

    Thanks Pete, I will try that, I am still new at this!

    While I was in Alaska last week, I did get an email from Princess, that my clients were upgraded to balcony cabins, so maybe you will get an upgrade to Hanna!
