    Refunds

Several months ago I placed a deposit on an April 2011 cruise on the NCL Jade. I used VTG to place the booking. The NCL travel details show that I forfeit the deposit if I cancel 90 days prior to the cruise departure date. My departure date is 10 months away. Does anyone know if I can get my deposit back if I cancel today? Thanks in advance for your help. Lee

You are way more than 90 days prior, so you would get a refund if you cancelled today.

Usually those penalties start the day your final payment is made. After you make final payment there is a schedule of how much is forfeited as you get closer to the sail date.

Agreed. You should be able to get the full refund of the money you paid this far out.

Unless your agent charges a fee for cancellation you should be good to go.

Thanks so much for your comments. I have sent an email to VTG. The $ has strengthened so much in the past 6 months that we think our money can be put to better use here in Sweden. Lee

VTG were fast and friendly. They cancelled the cruise and said the full amount would be refunded with 10 days. Thanks again for your help. Lee
