Thread: Travel Insurance - Do You Need It?

If we don't have a great TA how to we purchase travel insurance?? She has been less than helpful, once she booked our cruise. TIA.

You can either purchase it through another agent, or you can book it directly with the insurance company yourself.

If you're not happy with your agent, you can transfer the booking up until final payment has been made.

A good agent should always be available to you, be able to answer all of your questions, and be willing to spend as much time as it takes to assist you. After all, that's what they get paid for!

You can buy your travel insurance through a travel agent even if you don't purchase the vacation through them but I have to ask why you wouldn't use them for your entire trip. Sort of like keeping a journal but leaving out the main page. I buy travel insurance no matter how cheap the trip is too because it's not really the price of the trip I am concerned with losing - it's if I need that medivac ride off the ship or back to the states.
