As Reggie pointed out, be sure to read the fine print. Some online agencies do not include all the various port charges, government taxes, and maybe other fees in the quote. So you need to double check to make sure there are no other fees. I have checked the various online agencies for our last couple of cruises and then we just end up booking with a real life person, just so we can get the exact cabin we want and ensure we're getting the third person rate for our girl.

Well, I did it. But, I didn't go with the original online TA...I went with cruises-n-more.com I just couldn't beat the price.

Hopefully, they are ok. I don't really see a problem with using an online TA since I don't really change stuff around.

It went fine and I found the booking on NCL's website so I filled in all the pre-cruise info.

Something I forgot to mention. I was able to get the fair approx. $1,200 off of what NCL was going to charge me on an AB plus get $225 OBC.

I called NCL and the OBC is on my reservation. I called to make sure everything was ok with the reservation before cancelling the reservation with NCL.

About online agents...

If you can see an address and phone / fax numbers, and even better still banking details on their website, and do a directory search and find them, then you are pretty much assused that they are legit. In South Africa you can do a status query at the bank and they will advise if he is a good or bad client

A red flag always pops up for me when I cannot find these on a website!

One of the large online agencies went out of business last week and left a lot of people in the lurch. I don't remember which one is was - I know Galaxy was one of their branches.
